Russ brings a well-rounded background to real estate, with experience spanning inspections, lending, and investment properties. Before becoming an agent, he worked in his family’s pest control business, conducting hundreds of wood-destroying insect inspections and preparing detailed reports—often alongside home inspections and appraisals. This early exposure gave him a practical understanding of property condition and the broader transaction process.

He later served as a Mortgage Originator with Leaders Credit Union, where he helped clients select the right loan products and guided them through closing, including him facilitating certain refinance and for-sale-by-owner transactions. Through this work, Russ developed a strong grasp of contracts, inspections, and appraisal reports.

Real estate has long been part of his life. He grew up helping paint and maintain his father’s investment properties then went on to purchase and renovate his own, starting with a foreclosure in Jackson’s Lambuth neighborhood. Today, he continues to renovate and manage rental properties—one of his favorite aspects of the business.

Known for his patience, work ethic, and attention to detail, Russ prioritizes clear communication and strong client relationships. He understands the challenges of real estate transactions and works to make the process as smooth and informed as possible.

Outside of real estate, Russ enjoys time with his two children, often at the ball fields supporting their sports. He’s also an avid distance runner who regularly trains for half marathons. When he’s not working or training, he enjoys relaxing by the pool, watching sports, and traveling with family.
